Its party by the pool on select days and times. Entry starts at 11pm, and that time its some auto music playing. The featured DJ really came around 1 am and till that time it was mostly time spent at the bar and some warm up to dance. Wasn't too crowded, the area is pretty big. Few folks were in the jacuzzi, but no one inside the pool although 2 lifeguards were on duty. Decent experience. This was a DJ party by the pool, aspiring to be a night club but falling short. Not a lot of lights or other special effects experienced like in the regular night club.
My family and I wanted a little weekend getaway to spend a fun time together. We used to go the Harrah’s The Pool After Dark like a decade ago and recall it being a good time. WELL times have changedddd tremendously. First and foremost the reviews about Security + Staff are 100 percent accurate! I posted a picture of the main culprit, the white security guard. Didn’t want to just name drop I wanted to put a face to it. Something is not right at all with him. My cousin’s ID had expired 2 days prior (he clearly didn’t realize) once the security man brought it to his attention, no problem at all he showed his valid passport ID. This security guard was fuming! It was like he was looking for an issue. When they scanned the passport it came up in the system as a “pass back”. It’s literally because they had already scanned his license. We were standing there the entire time and the security saw him pull from his wallet. He said he had to escalate it. Once the black guy in the photo said he’s good, the white security guard then said to my cousin “you seem like you’ve had a couple drinks already, I don’t know if I can let you in if you’ve been drinking”. HUH?! We’ve been talking for nearly 20 minutes. I’m telling you HE WAS LOOKING FOR AN ISSUE. It was genuinely soo odd! We were mistreated so poorly and the whole encounter was entirely unnecessary. That security guy needs to be FIRED foreal, I’m sure this is not the only complaint he has received. We eventually got in after the security’s unprofessionalism, but we were ready to turn up! We walk in and couldn’t believeeee what we saw! It’s 1am and the club is completely EMPTY!!! We were the only ones in there along with the bartenders and DJ! No exaggeration, there were more people in the clear glass gym next door working out than in the club on a Saturday night!! The place was DEAD!! We had jokes like omg we rented out the entire club just for us. The way security was acting you would have thought it was packed! They should have even been grateful we were even there! We all ended up leaving after 20 min and went over to the Tropicana. All in all, if want a great night out PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE save yourself the assault and dead vibes. You’re better off staying home or going to one of the other clubs. Security is ruining this establishment’s reputation and the owners need to do an undercover boss and witness firsthand the mistreatment that we have all been expressing. Such a shame what this place has become.
Big, indoor, and great sound system. Saw Disco Lines here and had a blast. The pool was also open for swimming, which was wild — and there were locker rooms. Only downside was the bathroom situation: the attendants weren't restocking toilet paper, so things got chaotic pretty quickly.
We had a blast at this venue, security is tight and they have kinda silly dress code rules, but whatever! Some employees are rude others are friendly. They have a huge patio upstairs, Drinks are expensive just like any other venue.
So, I went to ac a quick get away. I forgot my Id , well brung my expired Id. The security guard Jean let someone in before me , literally in front of me with an expired id. However turned away. I went back all the way upstairs to get my Id. Showed it to him and he made a face with nothing to say. My thing is treat everyone EQUALLY HARRAHS!! Customer service and etiquette is in the trash! NEGATIVE FIVE STARS
