The staff is nice and friendly. It was a bit noisy. Hard to have a conversation. The food was good. I ordered the steak medium rare but it seemed to be medium. It was still tasty. All the food and drinks was delicious.
Nice steakhouse in Harrahs. Has a similar menu as it's sister restaurant Hells Kitchen but less fancier. The food was delicious especially the specialty BEEF WELLINGTON and BONE-IN RIBEYE. The restaurant was just a little busy that the service was not so attentive and as fine tuned as HK. People were waiting on just ordering when it got busy after we arrived. Also my beef Wellington seemed off on the plating (like lopsided and things were missing on the plate 😆) The steak was perfect cooked and very delicious! The wellington just needed a bit more sauce. Definitely will come back again if I hit big on the Harrahs slots.
Wonderfully comfortable… Excellent waitress. But absolutely terrible overpriced and overcooked dry bland steak. Ordered the tomahawk. Tasted like cardboard and ash. 215 dollars. Lobster was even overcooked and dry…Disgraceful. Manager was rude and racist. Should have gone to McCormick & Schmidt… grilled shrimp was great as well as the mac and cheese. Overall a waste of money. Never again. If the waitress wasn’t so amazing I would have just sent it all back and left. Looked far better than it tasted.
We dined here as we had tickets to a show and wanted something near the show. This must be how this restaurant survives. Our server was fine for what is expected at a chain restaurant but was not a great “fine dining” level server. We started with oysters which were tasty, moved to a pork belly appetizer that was burned on the exterior and had huge globs of fat- there was nothing edible on the plate. The server appeared quite disgruntled that we shared constructive feedback when asked about the course. The mains were the scallops and the beef Wellington. Both were good but not great. For the price point and the level of service the place is reaching for… it was not an amazing experience. We were comped a free dessert (toffee cake with ice cream)- that hit things out of the park but couldn’t make up for a very blah experience overall. The icing on the cake is my husband has been violently digestively ill for the past three hours so… this will most certainly be a one and done for us.
Wonderful, polished, borderline perfect service. They were there when needed and didnt endlessly stopped by for no reason interrupting conversations. Came for happy hour because regular menu pricing is outrageous. Cocktails werent very strong. We ordered almost every item on happy hour menu, and 2 full priced appetizers, and I am extremely sad to report that not one of them was mind blowing fantastic. Unfortunately this place for the prices doesnt hold a candle to your regular Capital Grille.
