I love Bar32. I first discovered them through their chocolate bar and later realized you could actually visit the restaurant. Everything is amazing. The desserts are incredible, and they often have really fun specials. Their famous chocolate chip cookie is always my favorite, and the cocktails are basically dessert in a glass. I can’t wait to go back.
My Bar 32 experience was amazing! I went for a wine & chocolate tasting and I truly enjoyed it. Nicole guided the tasting and she was awesome, very informative and attentive. Thanks again Nicole! I also had an espresso martini and the chocolate sampler of desserts, which both were delicious. I will definitely return for the service, ambiance, and deliciousness!!! ☺️☺️
I had been wanting to visit Bar 32 for a while. After all, it isn't every day that a bar has a massive sign above its name that simply reads "CHOCOLATE." I saw on social media that the bar was celebrating its 5th anniversary this weekend. Considering that nearly 45-50% of new businesses fail before reaching five years, the fact that they're still open told me they must be doing something right. After spending a few hours there on Friday night, I finally understood why they beat the odds. The moment I walked in, I appreciated the attention to detail in the decor. The holiday decorations were elegant and intentional--clearly placed with care, not just because the calendar demanded it. I expected great chocolate, but I didn't expect to see an actual winnower, the machine used to extract nibs from cocoa beans. That's when it clicked: this place wasn't just a bar with a theme. It was the real deal. Their tagline, "From Bean to Bar," suddenly made perfect sense. They produce chocolate on-site, through a full-scale production process that you can witness firsthand. The staff doesn't just serve--you'll find yourself learning from them about how and why that process matters and why it sets their product apart. When I spotted the winnower, my imagination immediately went into overdrive. I half-expected to see Willie Wonka or Milton Hershey sitting at a table inside. I was lucky enough to meet Nicole Callazzo, the proprietor and passionate Master Chocolatier. Lexie, the mixologist, made sure I was introduced to her the moment I began asking about the chocolates. Nicole carries a contagious love for her craft, and listening to her describe the art behind the chocolate was a joy in itself. They handed me both a cocktail menu and a chocolate menu. I glanced at them briefly, set them down, and simply said, "Tell me what I should order to sample what you do best." Without hesitation, Nicole suggested the "Little Bit of Everything." While my tasting board was being prepared, I ordered a hot chocolate. Lexie's face lit up at the suggestion, which only added to my excitement. It was served in a fine china cup and saucer--a presentation so elegant that it instantly became more than a sweet drink. It was an experience. Through the window, I watched a staff member in a spotless white uniform carefully pour selected single-source, direct-trade cacao beans into the winnower at 7:00 PM on a Friday night. Not just any beans--premium, singular-origin cacao, sourced with intention and care. The music, the atmosphere, even the art on the walls--it all felt warm, refined, and thoughtfully balanced between fun and sophistication. Soon, my board arrived--an artisan chocolate tasting platter, arranged like a work of edible art. I asked for permission to film the presentation, and you'll understand why when you see the clip. Nicole described each chocolate selection with passion, pride, love, and artistry. It wasn't rushed. It wasn't rehearsed. It was heartfelt. The serving size was generous--large enough for three people to enjoy fully without skimping on flavor. There was no chance I could finish that much chocolate in one sitting, but that wasn't the point. The point was to taste, learn, savor, and share. And share it I will--because this is a place built for: * a special someone, * a group of friends, * co-workers, or even * seasoned connoisseurs who appreciate high-energy thrills but seek a pause in elegance. Just steps from the world-famous Atlantic City Boardwalk, where casino lights pulse across the skyline and the ocean air hums with possibility, Bar 32 offers a rare kind of refuge. It's not an escape from the energy--it's a complement to it. A moment to reset, enjoy, connect, and indulge in something crafted with soul. Best of all? This entire experience was only $26.18 plus gratuity.
I went for Sunday Tea at Bar 32 Chocolate and it was fabulous from start to finish! The eclectic art on the walls makes the space so unique and welcoming. We enjoyed a special event where everything came out in courses, beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. The highlight for me was the chai tea infused with homemade chocolate—it was heavenly! On top of that, the cocktails made with Mama Bella Cello were next-level, some of the best I’ve ever had. The staff was friendly, the vibe was perfect, and it’s such a great spot to bring your girlfriends for a girls’ day out or to celebrate a special occasion. Highly recommend!
My husband and I came in for Valentine’s Day to try their wine and chocolate pairings and everything was great from the moment we walked in till we left. Nicole and Lexi took great care of us and explaining step by step how to try the chocolate with the wine. We are not from the area but next time we’re in the area we will definitely be back!!
